Pathfinder Miniatures
For an alternate to D&D miniatures people can look into the new Pathfinder miniatures by WizKids.  First off, WizKids sculpts have always been premium grade.  Then, their paint is the best of all the prepainted miniatures I have ever seen.  This is going to be symbiosis.  This will help with the pathfinder playing experience (even though you do not need minis ).  Then again, with the popularity of Pathfinder it will help WizKids sell some miniatures.  Finally, the gaming community gets a new source of high quality prepainted miniatures.  Why didn't WoC think of this for D&D minis?
