The Tyrians Invade GenCon2011!

Good Morning!

Well GenCon 2011 is coming up in a few weeks! It seems that the Lords of Tyr will be pretty well represented this year!

The whole Sutton clan will be there and "Award Winning Tweet Lord" Rob Jazo will bask in his celebrity at the Indy Convention Center.

I will be bouncing around catching the panels on 2nd Generation Gamers with some of our friends and our own TryWench! I also plan on catching the Season 2 premiere of the Gamer Chick Show. If I can find the time I think I will have to hassle Mr. Champagne about the Digital Initiatives that WotC has put forward this year.

And of course tracking down the soon-to-be-wed Miss Mazzanoble and congradulating her on her upcoming nuptials!

Other then seeing old friends and new games...and the minis....oh the minis! I am looking forward to GenCon this year!

Just Read a Really Nice Review of the Podcast

After a long bleary eyed session of podcast editing to finally try and catch up on all these awesome podcasts that have thus far only been available on uStream, I managed to see that someone reviewed our little podcast on iTunes!

The Tyrians invite you in with an unpretentious casualness of unedited, raw dorkiness. They keep you listening with the incredible variety of rpg/nerd-interest topics, and I mean it all in a good way! You come away wondering how they accomplish it all -- d&d, a 1.5 hour weekly podcast, parenting, jobs. What a great team. It's also great to know there are more dungeon delving adults out there of varying levels of d&d experience. Welcome to your new support group.

The earthquake was pretty bad, and people need our help. The people at DriveThruRPG have setup another donation for this earthquake, the same as they did for the one in Haiti. When I donated through DriveThruRPG the last time, I ended up with the Serenity RPG which was worth every penny. There are some gems in this offer as well.

What could be better than being compasionate and getting some new RPG stuff to explorer?

Friday Oct. 1st Facebook Movie Nite Out

We're going out! Chad really wants to see The Social Network (Facebook movie). Sorry it's not a Gamer/Geek/D&D/Comic Book relate movie directly.

We're going to HOLLYWOOD BLVD. CINEMAS in WOODRIDGE

Tickets go on sale Tuesday September 28th.

We'll get tickets for the closets show to 7:30pm (So is there is a 7:00pm do that one, but if there is the choice between like 6:45pm and 8:00pm do the later one)

Because they don't have showtimes out yet!
